An “amoosing” bingo story!

Bingo and Cows, not two words you’d normally see together but a craze that’s hitting rural America has combined these two very different things. Now, here at 888 Ladies, we’re pretty sure that a game of bingo is fine as it is. Getting your bingo card, numbers called out, dabbing ensues and someone wins. It’s a tried and tested formula and we love it.

The Americans seem to have a different idea though, and yes, it involves cow pats.

Okay, let us explain a little bit better:

You’ll need a field and a cow to begin. So if you haven’t got either, you might as well give up on the art of cowpat bingo. The field is divided up into a grid of numbers; each number will then be bought. Gather together a bunch of people who are willing to play the bizarre game and bet a significant sum of money on either one number or several numbers on the grid. The 888 Ladies are a lovely bunch who are usually willing to give anything a go, so roping one of them in shouldn’t be too difficult!

Then there’s the waiting part. Cows are fancy free, they can do whatever they like, so waiting for them to produce the, er, goods, could take a while. Often it takes hours, particularly if you start the game just after they’ve done their business.  So essentially, what you have is a bunch of people in a field waiting for a cow to produce a cowpat, not exactly the glamourous lifestyle the 888 Ladies are leading! When the cow finally does its business, the square that it happens on is the winner! Whoever has bid on that particular square can stand to win a ton of cash!

‘Cow Chip Bingo’ as it is fondly known relies upon the digestive actions of a cow and is probably the weirdest form of bingo ever know to man. But you never know, there might be weirder bingo games out there that the 888 Ladies just don’t know about yet!
